Julia YUhasz

Julia Yuhasz has been named founding Executive Director of the Women's Conservation Forum, tasked with building the organization into a lasting, bipartisan institution for the next generation of women in conservation policy.

With over two decades of experience, Julia specializes in taking organizations from launch to long-term success. Her expertise spans business development and communications, where she has served as a fractional director and strategic advisor across the healthcare, legal, and nonprofit sectors.

Her interest in conservation is deeply personal. As President of the Jefferson County Farmland Protection Board, she has advised on land use and conservation strategy for a private working landscape in West Virginia. This work has brought her to the table with landowners, state agencies, and community members navigating the very same expanse the Forum was created to bridge.

She holds an MBA and is a certified Project Management Professional based in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle, 90 minutes from Washington, D.C.
