Building the Forum for Bipartisan Conservation
Women’s Conservation Forum is a bipartisan network and fellowship started with the mission to bring women together from all walks of the conservation world. Because conservation isn’t left or right - it matters to us all.
The Mission
Women’s Conservation Forum develops the next generation of women leaders through a national fellowship and a growing community united by a shared commitment to the land.
Conservation in America has never been a partisan issue. From the rancher stewarding habitat on private land, to the hunter who knows the forest better than any map, to the scientist advocating for public lands policy, to the legislator drafting the law — good conservation takes many forms. And throughout history, it has always been a cause that brings people together across every divide.
Our mission is to build a lasting forum for that work, developing women leaders who carry conservation into every room, across every aisle, and throughout every level of American public life.
The Fellowship is the pipeline.
The Forum is the purpose.
The Fellowship
Launched in 2025, the Women in Conservation Fellowship was established to accelerate the careers of emerging women leaders in the conservation sector. Through strategic placements across a network of leading conservation institutions, fellows gain invaluable cross-sector experience that few professionals have the opportunity to achieve within a single program. By bridging the gap between ambition and opportunity, the fellowship is cultivating the next generation of women who will shape the future of conservation on a global scale.
